For those invested in the abortion debate, it is important to keep yourself apprised of developments.
Today marks the first of several hearings initiated to defund Planned Parenthood and investigate the videos alleging the illegal selling of fetal tissue for profit. Please note that these hearings are titled, “Examining the Horrific Abortion Practices at the Nation’s Largest Abortion Provider" (that name should tell you everything you need to know about the bias involved in this matter).
The Judiciary Committee has stated, “Planned Parenthood and its executives must answer for the alleged atrocities brought to light in the videos by the Center for Medical Progress.“ However, it is interesting to note that the GOP majority has admitted to not seeing the full, unedited videos.
Just another gentle reminder that these attacks are not just on Planned Parenthood for the allegations of fetal tissue “harvesting” (which have all been disproved). These attacks are on abortion itself.
