We’ve seen it over and over. When voters are in the know, they vote pro-choice. REBLOG to show your friends that you’re a pro-choice voter, and encourage them use our 2014 Voter Guide to find out where the candidates stand.
First North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory breaks his promise to not support any restrictions on abortion. Then he tries to lie about it?! Not on our watch.
Happy Feminist Pride Day! NARAL Pro-Choice staff members are proud to show we are what feminists look like.
Rep. David Scott is exactly right about why we can’t let judicial nominee Michael Boggs be confirmed —> http://nar.al/1qo
Names: Kelly Baden and Jennifer Miller
Location: New Jersey
Abortion Fund: New Jersey Abortion Access Fund
Why I Do This Work:
Kelly — I’ve worked for more than ten years in reproductive rights policy, and it’s easy to get lost in the politics of the issue. Funding abortions makes sure I don’t lose sight of why I do this work.
Jennifer — I fund abortions because without access there is no choice.

Name: Lindsay Rodriguez
Location: San Antonio, TX
Abortion Fund: Lilith Fund
Affiliation: Board Member, 2014 President
Why I Do This Work: Because I don’t believe that healthcare should be based on income or location. Because when people can control their reproductive health and sex lives, it’s the most intimate form of empowerment available, and taking that control away is immoral, unethical, and cruel. Because people have the right to control their own lives and make the decisions that are best for them, including the time that works best for them.

This many wrongs definitely do not make a right. Tell your senators to oppose President Obama’s anti-choice judicial nominee Michael Boggs.
Say what now? TED Talks says abortion doesn’t fit into “issues of justice, inequality and human rights.”
Can you imagine the kind of impact we could have if TED changed its policy? We could get thousands more people thinking about reproductive freedom in a whole new light and take a big step forward to ending the stigma around abortion.
Sign our petition to TED urging them to do the right thing & end its policy against hosting talks on abortion rights.
Did President Obama really nominate someone to be a federal judge who tried to channel funds to anti-choice crisis pregnancy centers and make a parental consent law even more extreme? Unfortunately, yes. That’s why we’ve launched a campaign to call on the Senate to reject him. All 100 senators need to hear from you – their constituents – that you want them to oppose Boggs’ nomination. Send an email right now.
Awesome! A federal court struck down North Carolina’s “Choose Life” license plates. It’s unconstitutional to offer “Choose Life” license plates and not pro-choice ones.
